Key Result Areas:

Food Quality & Pastry Preparation:

• Open the kitchen and bake pastries based on daily numbers, ensuring timely display in the café's pastry case.
• Maintain and restock the pastry case throughout the morning.
• Prepare backstock of pastries for the upcoming days based on par levels.
• Complete tasks listed on the Baker Checklist, adhering to cleanliness and health code regulations.
• Demonstrate composure during peak periods, setting a positive example for staff and showing enthusiasm in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.

Teamwork:

• Collaborate closely with Kitchen and Bar staff to accomplish daily tasks.
• Maintain kitchen cleanliness, workstation organization, and assist in dishwashing and deep cleaning when required.
• Proactively seek tasks during downtime while prioritizing your station.
• Foster effective communication with your team regarding café operations, meetings, and events.

Professionalism:

• Show initiative in learning all aspects of your role and correcting mistakes when necessary.
• Exhibit reliability by consistently arriving on time for your shifts.
• Acknowledge strengths and weaknesses, seeking assistance as needed.
• Maintain a positive attitude and approach your work with enthusiasm.
• Uphold respect and confidence in all interactions, aligning with the company's values.
• Weekend availability prefered.
