SiSTEMTutoring Agency has partnered with a school located in BastropTexas and weare looking for qualified Substitute tutors who can tutorintermediate Math & Reading in a facetoface environment to5th and 6th graders.

The candidate must be able to go to campus andtutor onsite for 7 hours per day Monday Friday. This Campus ImmersionIntermediate Math and Reading Substitute Tutor is located at CCIS (Cedar Creek Intermediate School).

The curriculum that will beused is MyPath. It will be pull out for small groups for a total of8 classes a day from 8 : 30 am to 4 : 00 pm Monday through Friday.

Thecandidate will need to be fingerprinted to be able to substitute oncampus. CCIS is 5th and 6th grade and has two points of contact atall times oncampus.

Requirements :

MUSTBE eligible to work in the United States of America and have avalid Social Security Number; Note : we do not sponsor visas at thistime.

MUSTBE Committed to tutoring for the duration of the assignment with apossibility ofextension.

MUSTHAVE reliable transportation and be able to attend inpersontutoring sessions in a timely and consistentmanner.

MUSTBe able to pass a backgroundcheck.

Musthave great interpersonal skills with the ability to adapt andrelate to students from diversebackgrounds.

MUSTHAVE your own computer and be technologically savvy (email textingSlack GoogleSheets / Excel).

MUSTHAVE a selfless commitment to making a difference in students lives(we work with migrant students and you must have compassion for allstudentsregardless).

KeyResponsibilities :

Asa tutor you will work oneonone with students to provide academicsupport in Intermediate level Math & Reading.

Youwill be responsible for developing lesson plans assessing studentprogress and communicating with parents and teachers as needed.

Tutorsthat can help middle school students prepare for their STAAR examinMath.

Beable to work with up to 15 students at atime

Requirements

SkillsKnowledge AndExpertise :

Acollege student with at least 60 hours of credithours.

Acollege graduate (Bachelor s Master s Doctoral degreeholder).

Acertified teacher with SBEC or other teacher state licensurescertification.

Aretired teacher with SBEC or other teacher state licensurescertification.

Skilledin 5th & 6thgrade level ofMath.

Havea minimum of 12 years of mentoring tutoring or teaching in aclassroom or schoolenvironment.

Haveexpertise in Elementary and intermediate schoolMath.

Beable to work with 1 to 15 students at atime.

AllSiSTEM tutors are welcome to refer qualified candidates to SiSTEMtutoring. Both the current SiSTEM tutor and applicant must completetraining onboarding and actively work with us for 30 days beforethe referral bonus of $ 100 can be paidout.
