Overview:
We are seeking compassionate and dedicated individuals to join our team as Home Health Aides. As a Home Health Aide, you will play a vital role in providing essential care and support to our clients in their homes. This is a rewarding opportunity to make a difference in the lives of others.
Responsibilities:
- Assist clients with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting
- Administer medication reminders and assist with medication management
- Monitor and record vital signs, such as blood pressure, pulse, and temperature
- Provide companionship and emotional support to clients
- Assist with light housekeeping tasks, such as cleaning and organizing
- Help with meal planning, preparation, and feeding if necessary
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure the highest level of care for clients
- Follow care plans and instructions provided by supervisors
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in senior care or a related field is preferred
- Knowledge of basic medical procedures and terminology
- Familiarity with assisted living, nursing home, memory care, or hospice care settings
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
- Reliable transportation to travel to client homes
