SIRVA is Hiring a Remote Supervisor, Auto Transportation (Ft. Wayne, IN-Hybrid)

Position Summary
Assists the Manager of the Auto Transportation Department in day to day responsibilities. Has solid negotiating skills and a thorough knowledge of third party auto and the household goods transportation industry. Helps refine and improve processes in order to service our customers and generate incremental revenue.
Functions and Responsibilities

  • Handles the day-to-day situations that come up in automobile operational fulfillment business. Challenges may involve several parties with different motivations including, but not limited to, fellow associates, agency associates, drivers, vendors, and customers.
  • Negotiates equitable solutions between stakeholders involving service or pricing.
  • Interacts with multiple/varied SIRVA departments to answer inquiries or interpret policies.
  • Subject matter expert on SIRVA auto fulfillment operations

  • Assists the Manager, Alliance, FP&A and all other business units in reporting all financial, KPI, and SLA performance metrics for the Alliance Auto Transportation Department.
  • Manages the 3rd party vendor auto invoice processing.

  • Supervise a staff of 4 coordinators and summer temporary staff.
  • Monitors and modifies staffing assignments to ensure performance, exceed expectations, and make process modifications to drive incremental earnings.
  • Analyzes individual productivity and quality of each coordinator. Periodic trends must be examined, and continuous improvement is expected.
5% • Coordinates process improvement, testing, documentation, and implementation.

  • Helps develop and administer training for new employees, temporary resources, and new agency personnel.
  • Coordinates and/or deliver training to vendor personnel as needed.

Education and Certification Requirements
  • Must have a college degree or 2- 4 years of dispatch / auto transportation experience
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite and ability to navigate MS Excel
