GENERAL FUNCTION: The Customer Manager will be handling related new and existing customer relations and process customer related documentation at start time of quote to final delivery of product.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Answering heavy volume (at times) of “customer request” phone calls and emails
• Manage day to day interactions with customers including processing of quotations, orders, engineering questions and all other communications between company and customer
• Work closely with Division Manager, machinist and other members of the team
• Visit/travel to assigned customers and make sales calls to prospective customers as required.
• Manage and develop subcontractors and vendors including obtaining quotations, entering purchase orders, monitoring deliveries and quality in ERP system
• Backup other Customer Managers.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Strong verbal communication and written skills
• Ability to multi-task in fast paced team environment
• Excellent time management, organization, and prioritization skills
• Self-starter with a solid ability to manage work and customers with minimal supervision
• Strong computer aptitude

EXPERIENCE: 1-2 years experience required working with a job shop or manufacturing company is required. Training will be provided for this position.

Note: Knowledge of Spring Industry a plus. Job is also not a remote position, working full-time in-house is required.
