How you'll make an impact:
Lead the team of Architects to design and deliver complete end-to-end solutions in the SiriusXM Connected Vehicles family of services. Work with respective Sales, Marketing and Product teams to translate customer requirements into actionable work for DevSecOps organization. Foster clear communications and accountability within and between teams and enable the teams to overcome obstacles. Be the bridge between our customers, executive management, and technical implementation.
What you'll do:

• Build a high-performing team of customer-facing solution architects who collaborate closely with sales and customer success to directly engage with customers. This includes pre-sales and post-sales activities that drive customer acquisition, onboarding, and overall success with CV's products and services.
• Actively support presales activities and discuss technical details with our customers.
• Establish the architectural principles to be used as building blocks for the Connected Vehicles services and platforms.
• Collaborate with Product leaders to align product roadmap and architecture with strategic direction.
• Drive architectural reviews and improvements of existing solutions and platforms.
• Develop and maintain the architectural roadmap for the Connected Vehicles services and platforms.
• Maintain a big picture, strategic outlook with the ability to iterate from company strategy to product development and planning.
• Be responsible for end-to-end solutioning for SiriusXM Connected Vehicles across various infrastructure, applications, and client components.
• Guide feature ideation, conceptual design, and user story creation to support an attainable and efficient design that follows best engineering practices and makes efficient use of resources.
• Identify core challenges and decisions and determine approaches and strategies to handle them.
• Lead discussions to determine approaches, risks, and costs utilizing a diverse set of perspectives.
• Identify participants and stakeholders in the engineering effort across the company.
• Lead the team in creating and refining an optimal solution and implementation path, to produce the highest quality feature while making the best use of resources.
• Support the development and integration of all feature components.
• Participate in detailed designs.
• Diagnose and resolve escalated issues.
• Participate in QA Design.
• Review and approve all architectural documentation.
• Communicate, evangelize, and foster participation with team members across multiple organizations, especially for larger, higher priority and bolder projects.
• Recommend technical, process, and organizational approaches and changes to improve culture, features, technology, and implementation across.
• Foster collaboration and a free and open flow of information across organizations.
• Present projects to executive management and rationales for strategic decision making.
• Ensure summary and feasibility notes at Gate 0.
• Ensure effort, cost, and objective value estimates at Gate 1.
• Identify and present any critical changes in status, risks, costs, achievable value, or othersignificant impacts to projects as they proceed through implementation and launch.

What you'll need:

• Bachelor's Degree in engineering
• 12-15 years' experience, service, and product architecture.
• Provide technical leadership for a diverse matrixed organization.
• Drive the team to solve technical and schedule problems in cooperation with the business owner.
• Experience with interacting with external customers, technology partners and executive teams to establish strong working relationships.
• Self-motivated, standout colleague, action-and-results oriented.
• Experience to manage a team senior technical staff across various technical areas.
• Exceptional project management, planning and organizational skills.
• A proven history of technical and organizational leadership.
• Works well with others and is a skilled communicator both written and oral; acts with professionalism both in person and when working on the phone with partners.
