Staff Product Analyst - (employer: Sirius XM Radio Inc.; job location: Oakland, CA) - Provide key business insights that drive decision-making based on trends with large focus on ad products. Analyze advertising interactions to optimize listener experience. Manage analytics lifecycle for ad products, from concept to delivery. Visualize key metrics on an ongoing basis to communicate out to product, sales and exec teams. Implement, manage, and reconcile internal and 3rd party metrics to drive product decisions. Collaborate with cross-functional groups to identify key product opportunities. Develop quantitative analyses, ad hoc reports, models and A|B tests to support advertising decisions. Conduct ad hoc analysis to provide guidance to engineering on bugs and issues. Requirements: Master's degree in Economics, Statistics, Mathematics or Business Analytics, plus two years of experience in the position offered or as a Senior Analyst, Data Analyst, or Data Engineer or Bachelor's degree in Economics, Statistics, Mathematics or Business Analytics, plus five years of post-Bachelor's progressive experience in the position offered or as a Senior Analyst, Data Analyst, or Data Engineer. All required experience must have included performing product analytics, including identifying core product challenges, informing product decision-making through data, documenting rationale for decisions, and utilizing research and insights; applying knowledge of causal inference analysis to conduct data analysis and provide product recommendations; performing data extraction, manipulation, transformation and visualization; and programming in SQL, Python and R.
