Robert Half is Hiring a Marketing Director Near Atlanta, GA

Robert Half is working with a prestigious hospitality brand dedicated to offering exceptional guest experiences. We are seeking a talented and proactive Marketing Director to join their team. This role is crucial in developing and implementing comprehensive marketing and PR strategies that enhance our brand recognition and drive customer loyalty.

This role is 100% onsite just outside metro Atlanta. Please do not apply if you are not interested in a 100% onsite position.

Hospitality is a very highly preferable!

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement the annual hotel marketing and PR plan, covering media relations, social media, internal communications, eCommerce, brand recognition, and loyalty marketing, all within budget guidelines.
  • Measure key performance indicators for all marketing and PR activities, promotions, and campaigns, producing performance reports for key stakeholders.
  • Manage the rollout of marketing and PR initiatives to support the hotel in meeting its targets, leveraging corporate communications, eCommerce, marketing operations, and strategic partnerships.
  • Oversee the execution of promotional activities across local, regional, and global channels, ensuring brand adherence and effectiveness.
  • Manage all media relations activities, including maintaining and distributing press kits, press releases, photo library, brochures, newsletters, key personnel biographies, and hotel Q&A sheets.
  • Oversee media visits, develop key media contacts, manage on-site press conferences, and stay aware of local media events and activities.
  • Act as the key media liaison, sourcing and pitching interesting, newsworthy stories about the hotel, including F&B, rooms, spa, architecture, design, team members, and corporate responsibility.
  • Provide full marketing and PR support to sales and F&B teams, including collateral creation.
  • Ensure all collateral conforms to brand standards and complies with corporate guidelines and budget requirements.
  • Manage internal communications within the hotel and update the regional office on local stories, awards, and sponsorship events for promotion.
  • Develop, manage, and grow a tailored social media strategy to drive engagement and loyalty, managing all hotel-level CRM and database requirements.
  • Support the Line Manager in developing marketing and PR strategies, demonstrating clear outcomes that support the commercial strategy of the business.
  • Identify local partnership opportunities with the regional team and oversee revenue-driving activities.
  • Build and execute a coherent social media strategy for the hotel and its outlets, seeking to grow followers and enhance customer interaction.
  • Respond appropriately to customer postings, addressing complaints and issues effectively.
  • Achieve performance goals and marketing and PR objectives set by the Line Manager.
  • Manage and share local news or stories affecting hotel business across the region.
  • Represent marketing and PR in hotel commercial focus meetings, proactively identifying revenue-driving opportunities.
  • Conduct continuous analysis of the competitive environment and consumer trends, using findings to evaluate and drive commercial success and social media activity.
  • Lead effective content management across all available channels, including the hotel website, OTAs, social media, mobile marketing, PR, and partnership programs.
  • Participate in internal and external marketing and PR meetings, industry events, training workshops, and trade shows.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in marketing and PR, preferably in the hospitality industry.
  • Proven track record of developing and implementing successful marketing and PR plans.
  • Strong understanding of media relations, social media management, and digital marketing.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficiency in using marketing and PR tools and software.
  • Ability to analyze performance metrics and produce detailed reports.
  • Strong organizational and project management skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Creative thinker with the ability to generate innovative marketing and PR ideas.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
