The Associate Product Manager, Product Management, will be responsible for the product planning and execution throughout the product lifecycle, including defining, gathering, and prioritizing product and automotive OEM customer requirements. The Associate Product Manager, Product Management will collaborate closely with the SiriusXM User Experience Design team, Engineering, Quality Assurance, Marketing, Programming, Customer Care, OEM Accounts, IT, Legal, and other corporate stakeholders to clearly communicate and document the features, requirements, and product status for assigned OEM in-vehicle audio applications.

• Responsible for the product definition and management of automotive products

• Work across the internal SiriusXM teams to define and document new audio service feature requirements

• Make real-time decisions for assigned programs as the subject matter expert for product features and functionality

• Coordination across engineering, UX, and connected vehicle teams to drive rich new functionality in-vehicle

• Product lead for emerging technologies in the vehicle and identifying how SiriusXM can leverage them to better integrate and improve functionality

• Tight coordination across Product Managers and the UX team to ensure UX supports needed functionality for new services/features

• Performs other duties as assigned

• BS/MS in Engineering, Business, Finance, Marketing or equivalent experience

• 3 years of total professional experience

• 1 years in Product Management of consumer digital / software products

• Experience in Product Management and/or development of complex serving systems for web and/or mobile applications

• Streaming media experience a big plus

• Agile training and experience preferred

• Knowledge of Jira and Agile/Scrum software development methodologies

• Strong knowledge in media and entertainment

• User Experience savvy and the ability to drive decisions and work from a "user-first" standpoint, balancing technical constraints with the goal of creating a superior User Experience for SiriusXM's subscribers

• Ability to utilize and interpret data to drive and support product decisions

• Interpersonal skills and ability to interact and work with staff at all levels

• Good public speaking and presentation skills

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

• Ability to work independently and in a team environment

• Ability to pay attention to details and be organized

• Ability to project a professional image over the phone and in person

• Commitment to "internal client" and customer service principles

• Ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
