How you’ll make an impact:

The Senior Technical Project Manager will assist with laboratory validation of new terrestrial repeater equipment including regression testing of associated software pursuant to authorizing it’ for use in production Broadcast systems. The Senior Technical Project Manager will assist with creating and

executing the required Test Procedures, Acceptance Test Plans, and test reports for approval by the Sr. Engineer. As a member of SiriusXM’s Terrestrial Repeater Engineering team, the Senior Technical Project Manager will work closely with the Terrestrial Engineering team and Fredericksburg team to ensure next generation equipment designs and new software releases meet requirements and remain on schedule.

What you’ll do:

• Manage cross-functional project management weekly updates.

• Assists with operationalization of new equipment from Factory Acceptance into Field Operations.

• Assists with compiling system requirements and create specifications for broadcast infrastructure.

• Assists the team with the development of system specifications and requirements for new network equipment as required.

• Assists with preparing, reviewing SOWs and acceptance criteria for new Broadcast products.

• Assists with the validation of hardware implementations of new broadcast products.

• Document and publish test results requiring prolonged use of computer-based tools.

• Interpret, assimilate, and summarize large volumes of technical test results including creation of formal test reports.

• Assists with the formulate conclusions, recommendations, and executive summaries from test reports.

• Re-configure test bench interconnection wiring and calibration of test equipment.

• Setup and monitoring lab test equipment pursuant to completing required test plans.

• Some travel required to remote offices and/or vendor locations (domestic or international).

• Assists with preparing, reviewing SOWs and acceptance criteria for new Broadcast products.

• Setup and monitoring lab test equipment pursuant to completing required test plans.

• Train and mentor NRCC & Field Operations personnel on operations and maintenance of new equipment.

• Create and manage work tracking environments Jira.

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Engineering Technology, or a related field or equivalent experience.

• 5 years relevant experience.

• No direct supervision responsibilities.

• The candidate must possess a good understanding of satellite communications including digital communications with expertise in QPSK and COFDM systems, RF engineering with expertise in S, X-band, and KU transmission equipment, transmission line theory, satellite link budgets, baseband, and RF test equipment.

• The candidate must be knowledge of terrestrial broadcast antennas, RF transmission systems.

• Experience with network monitoring, surveillance, and control including routing protocols, and experience with TCP/IP network configuration and administration.

• Knowledge of application-level protocols such as SNMP, telnet, FTP, HTTP, HTTPS, DHCP, DNS

• Knowledge of UDP, unicast and multicast.

• Proficient in lab equipment such as spectrum analyzer, network analyzer and network monitoring tool such as Wireshark or equivalent.

• Thorough knowledge of MS-Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access).

• Must have legal right to work in the U.S
