Responsibilities

Senior Analyst, Business Analytics - (employer: Sirius XM Radio Inc.; job location: Oakland, CA) - Serve as point of contact for creating and maintaining dashboards, forecasts, and data transparency for key stakeholders and leadership. Define key performance indicators for tracking the health of the advertising business. Track business requirements for new and existing analytic needs. Analyze large-scale datasets in on-premise and cloud computing data warehouses. Build and maintain automated reporting tools to provide business intelligence. Conduct in depth analysis to understand, frame, and communicate the impact of business decisions, opportunities, risks, technical and other issues, and to prescribe actions to mitigate or improve outcomes. Proactively identify opportunities where data collection and analysis can improve business processes and influence decisions. Create and maintain complex data pipelines. Work closely with various partner and stakeholder teams to drive analysis, data collection and track-down technical and data issues impacting sales/revenue/inventory. Requirements: Bachelor’s degree (US or foreign equivalent) in Business Analytics, Statistics, Math, Economics, or a related field plus two (2) years of experience in the position offered or in a business analytics related role. All of the required experience must have included experience in: a business analytics related role; Advanced SQL; utilizing database concepts; forecasting; Data visualization tools such as Tableau or similar; a programming language such as Python; utilizing statistics; and Excel. This role entails hybrid work, with time split between working in our Oakland, CA office and flexibility to telecommute from another U.S. location. Salary: $119,000/year.
