Job Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated Monitor Technician to join our healthcare team. The Monitor Technician will be responsible for observing patients' cardiac rhythms and reporting any abnormalities to medical staff promptly.

Responsibilities:
- Monitor cardiac rhythms of patients using telemetry equipment
- Identify and report any irregularities or changes in heart rate, rhythm, or other vital signs
- Document and maintain accurate records of patient monitoring
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure timely response to critical situations
- Follow protocols for responding to alarms and emergencies
- Assist in the maintenance and troubleshooting of monitoring equipment

Skills:
The ideal candidate should possess the following skills:
- Knowledge of aseptic technique in a medical setting
- Familiarity with medical terminology, anatomy, and physiology
- Understanding of vital signs monitoring and diagnostic evaluation
- Proficiency in interpreting cardiac catheterization and sonography results

This position requires a keen eye for detail, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced healthcare environment. A Monitor Technician plays a crucial role in patient care by ensuring accurate monitoring and prompt reporting of any cardiac issues.

Job Types: Full-time, Contract, Travel nursing

Pay: $18.00 - $22.00 per hour

Expected hours: 24 per week

Schedule:

• 5x8
• 8 hour shift
• Day shift
• Monday to Friday
• Morning shift
• Weekends as needed
