We are seeking an energetic, fun loving & positive individual to join our team! Come on who doesn't want to work in a toy store?!? There will be days your job description actually includes building LEGO® sets! Retirees encouraged to apply. We have flexible hours with morning shifts and evening shifts available.

This position is responsible for interacting with customers and team members, supporting sales and performing assigned tasks.

Responsibilities

• Provide and promote exceptional customer service to all guests. Regularly exceeding guests expectations.
• Generate sales through customer interaction and suggestive selling.
• Prevent asset loss through floor and store awareness.
• Perform register transactions without errors or shortages.
• Maintain a safe, clean, welcoming store environment.
• Consistently exemplify a teamwork attitude with management and coworkers to improve personal and store performance.
• Communicate effectively with management and coworkers concerning business issues and opportunities.
• Assist in merchandising and restocking.
• Receive merchandise.
• Assist with unloading trucks.
• Complete all other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• No prior experience required; however, prior customer service or retail experience preferred.
• Must be able to work Holiday/Seasonal hours between Thanksgiving and Christmas.
• Reliable & punctual.
• High School Degree or equivalent.
• General math skills to allow for cash accounting.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• General problem-solving skills.
• Professional appearance and attitude.
• Physical Requirements:
• Stand for up to 8 hours.
• Lift and carry up to 40lbs.
• Climb and balance on ladders.
• Bend at waist.
• Kneel and squat on the ground.
• Reach about the shoulder frequently.
• Must pass a background check and drug screening.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $10.50 - $13.00 per hour
