General Manager 

We are seeking an experienced and passionate General Manager to join our team! The General Manager’s responsibilities have, among other aspects, a direct impact on guest experience, the development of people in a favorable working environment and the cost-effective management of the business.

Overall the General Manager is expected to represent Ownership with dignity under all circumstances, embrace the same entrepreneurial mindset and act as a true ambassador of the restaurant, its concept and its brand.

Essential Job Functions:

Operational Support:

• Assist the Director of Operations in overseeing all aspects of venue operations, including front-of-house and back-of-house functions.
• Collaborate with department heads, and hourly employees hosts, servers, bartenders, bussers, and bar backs, to ensure smooth and efficient daily operations.
• Monitor daily operations to identify opportunities for improvement and implement corrective actions as needed.

Staff Management and Training:

• Assist in recruiting, hiring, and training new staff members, ensuring they are aligned with the venue's brand and service standards.
• Collaborate with the Director of Operations to conduct performance evaluations and provide ongoing feedback to team members.
• Support the development and implementation of staff training programs to enhance skills and promote a culture of excellence.

Guest Experience and Service Standards:

• Work closely with the Director of Operations and ownership to ensure the highest levels of guest satisfaction and service standards are consistently maintained.
• Address guest concerns and feedback promptly and professionally to ensure an exceptional guest experience.

Financial Analysis and Reporting:

• Assist in financial analysis, including budgeting, cost control, and revenue optimization.
• Support the Director of Operations in generating financial reports and interpreting data to make informed business decisions.

Event Planning and Coordination:

• Collaborate with the events team to plan and execute special events, ensuring they align with the brand and enhance overall guest engagement.

Health and Safety Compliance:

• Assist in implementing and enforcing health and safety procedures, ensuring compliance with all regulatory requirements.

Vendor and Supplier Management:

• Support the management team in managing vendor and supplier relationships, negotiating terms, and ensuring timely deliveries.

Quality Control:

Conduct regular inspections and audits to ensure adherence to quality standards in all areas of the venue.

Qualifications:

• 3 years proven experience in a management role in the Restaurant/Hospitality Industry
• Fine dining and/or Michelin experience required
• Strong operational background and familiarity with restaurant operations.
• Excellent leadership and team management skills.
• Exceptional organizational and multitasking abilities.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively with the management and ownership.
• Detail-oriented and committed to maintaining high service standards.
