DescriptionSiouxland Community Health Center has an opening for:
Security Officer 1 – Full-TimeHours are: Monday-Friday 1:00pm-9:30pm and Every 4th Saturday 8:30am-2pmSuccessful candidate must have solid experience & advanced knowledge of:
- High school diploma or GED required
- Experience in security preferred
- Basic computer and data entry skills
- Valid driver’s license
- Have or eligible to obtain concealed carry permit
- Complies with the security policies and procedures for SCHC.
- Responds to threats and safety concerns.
- Assesses the security risks and necessary countermeasures for all SCHC locations and property.
- Monitors security camera live feeds and the parking lot of the main SCHC facility.
- Ensures that patients and employees have safe access to the main SCHC facility.
- These functions are not all inclusive
SCHC participates in E-Verify.
Pre-employment drug screen, background check, and review of required immunizations including COVID vaccination are required. Exemptions may be granted for religious or medical accommodations.
