Job Description:
CH Patisserie, an acclaimed French pastry shop in Sioux Falls, SD, is seeking a talented and experienced Pastry Cook to join our team on a part-time basis. The ideal candidate will have a passion for creating exquisite pastries and desserts that delight our customers.
As a Pastry Cook at CH Patisserie, you will be responsible for preparing and baking a variety of pastries, cakes, and desserts according to our recipes and standards. You will work closely with our Head Pastry Chef to ensure that all products are made with precision and attention to detail. In addition, you will be expected to maintain a clean and organized work area, follow food safety guidelines, and contribute to the overall success of our pastry department.
The successful candidate will have a minimum of 2 years of professional pastry experience, a strong knowledge of baking techniques , and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. A culinary degree or certification is preferred but not required. A positive attitude, a willingness to learn, and a commitment to quality are essential qualities for this role.
