Position Summary
Under direct leadership, the Global Business Systems Support Specialist will be responsible for user support of our global business systems to promote efficient business operations. Success in this role is predicated on a blend of technical aptitude and exemplary customer service. Global Business Systems Support Specialist will be the primary point of contact to ensure that day to day application support is handled promptly and thoroughly, in a manner that demonstrates, “Everything is Important.”
Essential Functions
- Provide first level support for users within our Global Business Systems (Included but not limited to: proprietary systems, financial systems, sales software, design systems
- Diagnosing system behavior, user troubleshooting, escalating any more complex problems to GBS leadership (e.g., ScanLogic label printing), administer system master data when requested to support user needs (e.g., adding Warehouse Locations), overseeing system integrations are healthy with error analysis)
- Ensure system support documentation is up to date
- Provide in person / at desk application training for end-users when needed.
- Assists the GBS leadership with the testing and roll-out of patches, new features, and upgrades to our business systems.
- Support the business with any reporting requirements that are beyond those provided by the system to end-users.
- Report any misuse of the systems to GBS leadership.
- Demonstrates best in class customer service and effective written and verbal communication.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent certifications/experience in computer science, engineering, technology, or related field.
- Five (5) plus years’ relevant work experience with business systems and processes such as ERP, MRP, WMS, PLM, etc.
- Experience in the field of IT user support or Customer Service.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in any of the following development languages & tools would be preferred: MS SQL Server, C#, JavaScript, CSS, HTML, .Net Framework, MS Azure.
- Experience with any of our existing systems would be preferred: ScanLogic, NetSuite, Salesforce, Shop Monkey, 3DXeperience.
Skills/Abilities and Attributes
- Extensive knowledge of hardware and software systems
- Knowledge of the best practices in the industry
- Effective time management skills with the ability to prioritize activities effectively to ensure competing priorities are appropriately triaged and handled in an acceptable time frame.
- Team oriented, with a strong ability to multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment to deadlines.
- Effective written and verbal communications skills; ability to express ideas clearly and actively listen to others.
- Positive attitude and strong work ethic
For US candidates, the starting salary range for this position is between $69,680.00 - $87,100 per year, plus an annual bonus plan. Actual compensation will be determined by skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
For UK candidates, compensation can be discussed during the interview process.
