As part of the Behavioral Health Central Scheduler & Support Team, individuals are responsible for carrying out various tasks that encompass administrative support, patient scheduling, and insurance verification, when needed. The team will gather updated demographic information and insurance information at the time of the scheduled appointment. Work will consist of a variety of routine and non-routine duties of a clerical nature, requiring the use of independent judgment and decision-making skills within well-established parameters.

MINIMUM Education:

• High School Diploma or GED required; Bachelor's Degree preferred

MINIMUM WORK EXPERIENCE:

•  Minimum of 2 years’ work experience in the customer service area

KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS:

• Meditech/NexGen/EPIC (preferred B/AR, ADM, PCI and scheduling modules)
• MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access)

• Knowledgeable of Insurance plans

• Insurance eligibility systems (Ecare/Passport, Loxogon)
• Medical/Psychiatric terminology
