Sims-Lohman is hiring a high energy CNC Operator with Maintenance experience for our granite fabrication facility at our Cleveland manufacturing facility located in Brooklyn Heights, Ohio

Responsibilities include:

- Operate CNC fabrication machinery to router or polish counter top edges

- Operate overhead crane and occasionally use forklift to empty hopper

- Trim, scrape or polish countertops or parts, using hand grinders and equipment

- Verify quality of finished countertops by inspecting them, comparing them to templates or measuring their dimensions

- Perform machine and facility maintenance as needed.

Qualifications

- 3 years' experience operating manufacturing machinery such as CNC, industrial saws, and other equipment

- 3 years' experience using overhead cranes and forklifts; this is not a forklift position.

- 3 year's experience with machine and facility maintenance

- Ability to use a variety of hand tools including hand grinders and hand routers

- Ability to read shop drawings and use a tape measure

- Ability to work with heavyweight

- Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screen

- Ability to work first shift, and overtime as needed with some Saturdays to perform preventive maintenance and or other duties as assigned.
