Job Overview:
We are seeking new & experienced compassionate Nurse Practitioners to join our growing healthcare team. As a Nurse Practitioner, you will provide primary care services to the geriatric population at various locations including independent living facilities, assisted living facilities, memory care units, senior day care facilities, and private residences. This is a part-time position with opportunities for career growth and professional development.
Responsibilities including but not limited to:
- Conduct comprehensive physical examinations and assess patients' medical history
- Diagnose and treat acute and chronic illnesses, injuries, and infections
- Order and interpret diagnostic tests, such as sonography and laboratory tests
- Monitor patients' vital signs and provide appropriate medical interventions
- Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement treatment plans
- Educate patients and their families on disease prevention, health promotion, and self-care techniques
Skills:
- Excellent patient care skills with a focus on delivering compassionate and personalized care involving families and caregivers as appropriate
- Proficiency in interpreting diagnostic tests
-Communication skills, flexibility, and patience with team members of a growing practice
