Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-oriented Retail Sales Associate to join our team. As a Retail Sales Associate, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, promoting and selling products, and ensuring a positive shopping experience for our customers. This job would go from June to November. Your schedule could include some evenings and weekends.
Responsibilities:
- Greet customers and assist them in finding the right products
- Provide product knowledge and answer any questions or concerns
- Operate cash registers and handle financial transactions accurately
- Maintain a clean and organized sales floor, including restocking shelves and arranging displays
- Assist with inventory management, including receiving and processing shipments
- Meet sales goals and contribute to the overall success of the store
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing customer inquiries about Estes, RMNP and things like paid parking.
- Utilize effective phone etiquette when handling customer calls
-Play and give treats to the store dog(s).
Experience:
- Previous retail sales experience preferred but not necessary.
- Knowledge of retail math and cash register operations
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Strong sales skills with the ability to upsell and cross-sell products
