Staff Management SMX is currently hiring Light Machine Operators in Slater, MO factory! Associates in this position help make a difference for the environment while working in a climate-controlled manufacturing factory.

This is a contract position with openings on the 1st and 2nd shift :

• 1st Shift : Monday-Friday, 5 : 30am-3 : 00pm ($15.50 / hr)
• 2nd Shift : Monday-Thursday & alternating Fridays, 3 : 00pm-1 : 30am ($16.50 / hr)

Job Responsibilities

Associates are responsible for assembling perforated and cylinder filters for a wide range of applications or operating sewing machines for production purposes.

Basic manufacturing functions include assembly, quality inspection, sorting, receiving, and packaging.

This position also has the following requirements :

• Lift 40-50 lbs
• Ability to stand, walk, move about for shift duration (8-12 hours)
• Detail orientated
• Manual dexterity
• Normal or corrected vision to read directions and visually inspect parts; and to distinguish colors
• Ability to reach, bend, and stoop for objects
• Perform repetitive movement with arms and hands
• Must be able to read precise measurements down to 1 / 16th of an inch
