Description

The Group Supervisor will be responsible for up to 30-40 associates on their shift. The role will be to insure the associates are working their assigned production lines and carrying out all assignments requested by Mars Petcare.

This role will be responsible for the performance and accuracy of work for their associates. Also will be required to communicate to Mars managers during shift.

Heavy floor time and light administrative duties are required. Must have steel toe shoes to work at the plant. This position will report in to the SMX Operation Manager.

Must have at least 2 years of supervising experience of more than 10 associates.

The starting pay is $18.00 / hr and goes to $18.75 / hr after 90 days and then $19.50 / hr after the first year.

Job Responsibilities

• Responsible for taking attendance.
• Responsible for meeting regularly with New Hires and insuring they are properly trained
• Responsible for entering notes on conversations with client or with associates
• Responsible for signing off on end of shift forms required by Mars management
• Responsible to conduct pre-shift meetings
• Responsible for communicating incidents that occur at plant to Mars safety and SMX risk management dept.
• Responsible for light data entry work
• Responsible for providing reports to Mars management
• Good communication skills
