JOB TITLE: Director of Vendor Management

LOCATION: Remote

Travel % (if applicable): 5-10%

As the Director of Vendor Management, you will….

Manage a team of analysts and external vendors to drive continuous improvement within Simon Med Revenue Cycle Management. Develop and maintain a Vendor Quality Program and work load shift resulting in positive ROI

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

• Develop a hybrid onshore/offshore vendor strategy to support end to end Revenue Cycle Management
• Develop a Vendor Quality program to validate effective throughput and adherence to SOPs and best practices.
• Maintain Root Cause and Corrective Action protocols within vendor scope.
• Maintain load balancing and work force management models to maximize vendor value.
• Build vendor relationships to further the success and mistake-proofing of RCM processes.
• Manage a team of Quality analysts to drive people, process, and technology opportunities.
• Work across departments (both internal and external) and levels thereof to apply data-driven decisions to all aspects of the end to end process.
• Develop and report vendor scorecards IAW contractual KPIs & SLAs
• Validate and approve all vendor invoices
• Support executive requests for data insights and recommendations for areas of opportunity.
• Adheres to policies, procedures, guidelines relative to departmental operations.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

Education:

• Healthcare Administration preferred

License/Certification:

• Lean Six Sigma preferred

Experience:

• 3 yrs of Revenue cycle
• 3 years of data analytics and automation
• 2 yrs managing on & off shore vendor resources

PHYSICAL DEMANDS: This position may require duties including lifting and carrying up to 40 pounds, sitting for prolonged periods of time, with frequent standing and walking.
