Job Summary:
We are seeking a talented and creative CAD Designer to work with us part time as a freelancer. Ideally we want someone who can come into our office in person and work with us 5 to 10 hours per week on various jewelry projects. This job is best for those seeking part time work in the diamond district and have some experience with Jewelry CAD work. We are flexible with time and details can be hashed out during the interview process. Open to independent Jewelry designers, freelancers, new graduates, etc.
Responsibilities:
- Create detailed technical drawings and digital designs using CAD software such Rhino
- Collaborate with the design team to understand their vision and translate it into accurate and visually appealing jewelry CAD designs.
- Be able to convert 3dm files into STL files for printing and casting.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a CAD Designer in jewelry (please attach portfolio with previous work)
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team
Salary commensurate with experience
Job Types: Part-time, Temporary
Pay: $40.00 - $60.00 per hour
Expected hours: 5 – 10 per week
