SimBioSys is seeking an experienced Associate Director Marketing to help support and execute the SimBioSys marketing strategy. The ideal candidate will have a background in Life Sciences and experience in scientific writing. Candidates will be required to understand and translate the scientific work of our team to marketing materials targeted to Doctors and clinicians. This role will report to the Chief Commercial Officer.

• Compile and simplify scientific content for use in sales & marketing materials
  • Slide Decks
  • Website properties
  • Social Media / blogs / infographic creation
  • Press Releases
  • Demo Videos
• Drive development of product positioning, messaging, and sales & marketing collateral
• Define company marketing campaigns – objectives, target audiences, strategies, logistics
• Engage with healthcare professionals to understand key pain points & needs across segments in order to inform marketing messaging
• Leverage market research to synthesize voice of customer insights and to generate competitor analysis
• Partner with leadership team on the execution of KOL advisory boards

About the Candidate: 

• PhD in life sciences or a similar field, or significant relevant scientific writing
• Oncology experience preferred
• Understanding of biology is critical
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Strong computer skills
• Background in statistics
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team to meet project goals

Great to Have:

• Experience with/knowledge of genomics, bioinformatics and computational biology
