SIM Surgical is Hiring a CNC Machinist - 1st Shift Near Fenton, MO

Hello machinists! Are you tired of working in hot, dark, dirty shops on out-dated machines?

Sim Surgical is seeking CNC Machinists in our Mill Department for 1st Shift. First shift is Monday through Friday from 6:00 a.m. to 2:30 p.m..

Clean, well-lit, state-of-the-art machining center in a climate controlled facility! Health, Dental, and Vision available from day one!

Principal Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Operate various machines, including CNC Swiss Lathes and Haas Mills to finish parts or prepare for next operation.
  • Work from blueprints, part prints, drawings, and verbal instructions.
  • Use precision tools and instruments.
  • Capable of working to tight tolerances.
  • Maintain work area and equipment in a clean and orderly condition; follow prescribed safety rules and regulations.

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Minimum 1-3 years’ experience with operating and programming CNC Machines.
  • Possess strong math skills, ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide numbers including decimals and fractions. Simple reference use of formulas, charts, shop prints, specifications and computer scanning devices.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with other employees.
  • Experience with Haas, Okuma, or Tsugami Swiss machines would be beneficial but not required.
