**Position Available: Experienced Caregiver for Senior Live-In Position**

We are currently seeking a compassionate and experienced mature female caregiver to provide attentive care for a senior in the comfort of their home. This live-in position occurs every other weekend (Saturday and Sunday) from 8:00 am to 8:00 pm. You will have access to a comfortable room with a bathroom during your stay. The job is located in Lion Gate, at 1110 Laurel Oak Road, Voorhees Township, NJ. Please be aware that holiday rates will apply if your scheduled workday falls on a recognized holiday. If you have your own transportation, this position is ideal for you. However, if you rely on transportation, please note that accessing the location via public transportation may be challenging.

**Responsibilities:**

1. **Personal Care:** Assist clients with activities of daily living, including bathing, grooming, dressing, toileting, and oral hygiene, while promoting dignity, privacy, and independence.

2. **Mobility Support:** Help clients move safely around their home environment, using mobility aids as needed and providing assistance with transfers, ambulation, and positioning to prevent falls and injuries.

3. **Medication Reminders:** Prompt clients to take their medications as prescribed by their healthcare provider, ensuring adherence to medication schedules and documenting administration as required.

4. **Nutritional Support:** Prepare and serve nutritious meals and snacks based on clients' dietary preferences and restrictions, encouraging proper hydration and assisting with feeding as necessary.

5. **Household Assistance:** Perform light housekeeping tasks, such as tidying up living areas, doing laundry, and washing dishes, to maintain a clean and comfortable home environment for clients.

6. **Companionship:** Provide emotional support and companionship to clients, engaging in meaningful conversation, recreational activities, and social outings to promote mental well-being and prevent loneliness and isolation.

7. **Safety Monitoring:** Remain vigilant for signs of potential hazards or safety risks in the home environment, such as slippery floors or obstructed pathways, and take appropriate measures to prevent accidents and injuries.

8. **Communication with Healthcare Team:** Communicate regularly with clients' families, caregivers, and healthcare providers to report any changes in their condition, address concerns, and coordinate care plans and services.

9. **Documentation:** Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of client care activities,assist with medication , and observations of client behavior and well-being, in accordance with agency policies and procedures.

**Qualifications:**

- Home health aid or CNA
- **Compassion:** Demonstrated empathy and compassion for clients, with a patient-centered approach to care and a commitment to promoting their dignity and autonomy.
- **Reliability:** Dependable and punctual, with the ability to adhere to scheduled shifts and fulfill commitments to clients and their families.
- **Communication Skills:** Effective communication skills, both verbal and written, to interact professionally with clients, families, and members of the healthcare team.
- **Cultural Sensitivity:** Respect for cultural diversity and sensitivity to clients' individual values, beliefs, and preferences in delivering culturally competent care.

**Rate: $150 per day**
