Passionate about pets? Why not work with them! We are currently hiring for part time kennel assistants. Job duties include but are not limited to: caring for the boarding dogs and cats, caring for dogs in doggy daycare, cleaning, taking phone calls, scheduling appointments, running the register, bathing dogs (on occasion) and customer service. This position can be physically demanding. Being able to handle a fast pace work environment and multitask is a must. Must have a valid drivers license, experience with customer service, and experience handling dogs and cats (either at home or professionally). Having prior work experience in the animal industry is a plus. Work hours are part time (16 - 20 hours a week). The training period for this position normally lasts 2-3 weeks. During this training period pay is $10/hr. After training is completed the pay rate will go up to $14-$15 depending on your availability. Every other weekend availability is a must and we do work holidays!
