RN / LPN Contract - Silverstone Place - Full Time - 7p-7a Shift - 13 Weeks

Special opportunity for an RN / LPN looking for a short-term contract for our facility located at Silverstone Place in Rolla, MO.

RN / LPN Contract Nurse must be able to:

• Work Full Time 12-hour Night Shift (7p-7a) including every other weekend
• Have reliable transportation to Rolla, MO
• Able to fulfill a 13 week contract

Registered Nurse / Licensed Practical Nurse ( RN / LPN ) Responsibilities:

• Current and valid Missouri RN / LPN license is REQUIRED.
• Thorough knowledge of Missouri State regulations for Assisted Living facilities.
• Assisted Living or Long Term Care/SNF experience is REQUIRED.
• Experience with Alzheimer’s and dementia is a plus.
• Be a self-starter and able to work independently.
• Experience in staff member relations including training and development.
• Ability to establish effective relationships with residents, family members and staff.
• Ensure that your staff are following care plans.
• Chart on all residents under your care.
• Work within the scope of your license.
• Assist in the dining room during meal times.
• Responsible for all nursing care of all residents during his/her shift.
• Supervision of the nursing department and performance of staff assigned to his/her zone or hall including nursing assistants and medication aid.
• Take verbal and written orders from medical personnel and transcribe, note and follow up on the orders and document the nursing notes.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
