Silverlake Animal Hospital is wanting to add to our fantastic team of Veterinary Technicians! This position is for an Experienced Surgical/Dental Technician. Position is FULL TIME (37-40 hours/week).

This Technician would have a primarily role as a Surgery/Dental Technician. We are a tech-driven hospital which encourages our technicians to use their knowledge/skills to their utmost capabilities. Role of a Surgical/Dental Technician includes preanesthetic exam/evaluation, drug calculations and administration, anesthesiology, induction and recovery, monitoring and documentation of vitals, being knowledgeable of normal and abnormal vitals, performing canine & feline dental prophylactic cleanings with full mouth digital radiographs in a timely manner.

Additional duties include prescription refills, client education and client communication, room/appointment technician duties, creating & reviewing treatment plans, canine & feline venipuncture, restraint, & hospitalization monitoring.

*A minimum of 1 year of experience in surgical monitoring/dental prophylaxis is required.
