- Demonstrate excellence in teaching Math including grading and recording assessments in a timely manner
- Demonstrate knowledge in the area of high school coursework and have the ability to explain Mathematics concepts well
- Demonstrate sound classroom management skills
- Demonstrate knowledge of the developmental age of a high school student
- Cultivate a positive learning environment
- Tutor students in the subject matter taught
- Communicate well with parents and keep them informed of the student’s progress
- Integrate appropriate technology to make student learning fun, collaborative and interactive
- Sponsor and organize a J-Term course
- Support ideas and policies of the administration
- Possesses outstanding interpersonal, oral, writing and technology skills
- Able to collaborate with teachers and parents as partners
- Able to disciple and mentor high school students
- Able to integrate biblical truths and a biblical worldview in teaching Mathematics
- Has a full understanding and is in agreement with the Statement of Faith of Silverdale Baptist Academy and has a strong commitment to school philosophy
- Understand the Mission and Vision of Silverdale Baptist Academy
- Committed to protecting the culture of SBA
- Strong and clear Christian testimony
- Strong commitment to a Biblical worldview

- Bachelors Degree with Mathematics endorsement
- Willingness to sponsor extra-curricular activities/clubs or be able to coach an athletic team.
- Willingness to obtain an ACSI certification
