Job Overview:

Silverado US Inc. is a commercial construction company located in Kansas City, Missouri. We are seeking a Financial Controller to guide, direct and support our growing office and construction team. In this position you will be able: to expertly provide accurate and timely financial reporting; manage daily, monthly and year-end processes; guide and give financial feedback to the team and owner; and analyze and assist in job costing and analyses.

Duties:

• Manage all accounting operations including Billing, A/R, A/P, GL, Cost Accounting, Capital Asset Accounting, and Revenue Recognition
• Coordinate the overall supervision and financial administration of multiple companies.
• Facilitate and lead the month-end process, including timely financial statement preparation and presentation.
• Preparation of financial reports to monitor and analyze results across all jobs.
• Monthly bank reconciliations.
• Prepare balance sheet reconciliations, including amortization and other schedules.
• Create adjusting entries with appropriate and necessary supporting documentation.
• Monitor and evaluate projects.
• Assist in the preparation and review of budgets, forecasts, and variance analysis.
• Tax compliance
• Initiate and implement process improvements and control systems.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
• Working experience as a Financial Controller
• 5 years of full cycle accounting experience, preferably in the construction industry.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office with strong Excel skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communications in English.
• Highly-organized, with a strong attention to detail, able to think critically and prioritize.
• Ability to effectively work under pressure and meet deadlines.
• Excellent accounting software user and administration skills

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $80,000.00 - $110,000.00 per year
