Silver Star Construction, a local road construction company - is seeking a Class A Pneumatic End Dump Driver- Job Description entails transporting materials like dirt, gravel, sand, asphalt, dust from one place to another. Home every night. CDL A (tanker endorsement preferred)

Responsibilities:

• End Dump truck drivers transport paving materials to destination
• Inspects truck equipment with pre-shift and post-shift walkaround inspection.
• Maintains and follow truck maintenance schedule
• Work in a variety of weather conditions.
• Perform all other duties as assigned.

Requirements:

• Transporting rock, sand, and gravel, to and from one specified location/repetitively
• Greasing the truck
• Inspecting the dump truck before and after every shift, which includes checking the oil, gas and water levels as well as the lights and tires.
• Promptly reporting any accidents, injuries or mechanical faults to management.
• Repetitive
• Independent and good with trouble shooting
• Performing regular maintenance to ensure that the truck is in good working order.
• Must meet all Federal DOT Requirements.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License.
• Valid Medical Examiner's Certificate.
• Clean driving record.
• Proven experience operating a standard dump truck.
• Working knowledge of construction site safety, truck maintenance, and road safety regulations.
• Excellent problem-solving skills.
• Exceptional customer service skills.
• Effective communication skills.
