Portland Silver Cloud Hotel

Our boutique style hotel has the convenience of Downtown Portland without the hassle and congestion. The Silver Cloud Hotel – Portland is located adjacent to the Nob Hill shopping district featuring a variety of Portland’s finest boutiques, shops, nightlife and restaurants. Nearby Forest Park offers hiking and biking trails.

Urban Steel Kitchen Bar is our new restaurant, where flavor is anything but ordinary and always abundant. Our kitchen is open for breakfast, lunch, happy hour and dinner.

Our lobby is newly renovated and our restaurant opened 2 years ago. We are a Smoke and a Pet free Hotel that offers free parking and a great location.

Being part of the Silver Cloud Portland

An integral part of the leadership management team, the Director of Rooms and Sales will provide leadership and management for all operational hotel personnel including, but not limited to Rooms, Food and Beverage, overseeing the delivery of exceptional guest experiences across the operational disciplines. The hotel is positioned as a 4-star accommodation, with all the amenities supporting that statement; impeccable service delivery and excitement – a “buzz” – about the destination are paramount to its success.

Problem Solver and Communicator

• Coordinates and manages the day-to-day housekeeping operations of the hotel.
• Performs regular inspections of rooms and walk throughs of the hotel.
• Monitors all cleanliness standards in the hotel to ensure that all guest experiences are elevated.
• Personally meets and interacts with guests.
• Directly supervises housekeeping.
• Assumes the role of Housekeeping Spokesperson in the absence of the Housekeeping Manager.

Compensation: based on experience.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $19.00 - $20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
