The Headquarters Air Force (HAF) and the Assistant Secretary of the Air Force (SAF) Office of Diversity and Inclusion (ODI) are seeking to implement an advanced training system focused on Diversity, Equity, Inclusion, and Accessibility (DEIA). The proposed solution is a Mixed Reality Experience (MRX) through an Immersive Learning Simulation (ILS) platform, referred to as the Leading Inclusively Virtual Experience (LIVE). This technology is intended to provide realistic, interactive learning environments that strengthen "soft skills" such as communication, emotional intelligence, and critical thinking among Airmen and Guardians.

Essential Roles and Responsibilities

• Collaborate with DEIA office to create and refine DEIA education and training.
• Ensure alignment with adult learning methods and DAF DEIA competencies.
• Create course development plans, analyze feedback, and improve instructional quality.
• Coordinate and obtain approvals for DEIA training.
• Facilitate the transfer of DEIA training into the Air Force LMS (MyLearning).
• Compile, coordinate, and maintain a DEIA repository in MyLearning.
• Promote and train government personnel on accessing and utilizing the DEIA resources.
• Regularly update DEIA training resources, ensuring relevancy to the DAF mission.
• Provide guidance and training to government personnel on managing course materials in MyLearning.
• Develop and implement a DEIA self-evaluation checklist.
• Educate stakeholders on evaluating DEIA education and training.

Qualifications

Education

Bachelor's degree in a related field

Experience

• 8 years in instructional system design, with a minimum of 5 years in modern training development tools.
• 5 years related experience in diversity, equity, and inclusion, HR, adult education, and training.
• Expertise in interviewer training, training needs assessment, and computer-based training development.

Certification

• Certified Professional in Learning and Performance (CPLP)
