Silon is Hiring a Packaging Operator (Plastics) Near Peachtree, GA
Flexible schedule candidates needed.
(Must be available to work evenings or overnights)
- Maintains safe and healthy work environment by establishing, following, and enforcing standards and procedures; complying with legal regulations.
- Packaging of raw materials in a manufacturing environment
- Use an RF scanner when transferring raw materials and finished product.
- Use 6S principles for maintaining a clean work environment.
- The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. The employee is occasionally required to sit; climb or balance; and stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl. The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
- Room for growth to potentially become an extrusion operator
Qualifications:
- Experience in a manufacturing environment
- Sit down/stand up forklift experience preferred
- High school/GED

Pay: $18.00 - $21.00 per hour
