Overview:
We are seeking a reliable and hardworking Warehouse Associate to join our team. As a Warehouse Associate, you will be responsible for various tasks related to warehouse operations, including inventory management, order picking, shipping and receiving, and operating heavy equipment such as forklifts and reach trucks.
Responsibilities:
- Utilize warehouse management system to accurately track and manage inventory
- Pick orders according to customer specifications using order picking equipment
- Load and unload trucks using forklifts, reach trucks, and other heavy equipment
- Perform quality control checks on incoming and outgoing shipments
- Organize and maintain warehouse space to ensure efficient workflow
- Assist with inventory counts and cycle counts as needed
- Follow all safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work environment
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience in a warehouse or logistics environment preferred
- Valid forklift certification is a plus
- Proficient in using warehouse management systems
- Ability to operate heavy equipment such as forklifts, reach trucks, and cranes
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in order picking and inventory management
- Ability to lift heavy objects and perform physical tasks as required
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work well in a team
