**Job Summary/Basic Function:**
This position will supervise IT operations for the Event and Sports Facilities department and the Wildcat Store. The positions will work at multiple buildings, locations, and campuses within Weber State University (WSU.) Due to the nature of the responsibilities, the position may have to work during events on evenings, weekends, and some holidays. It will report to the Director of IT for Financial Services. This role's responsibilities include:
Supervise, plan, and schedule staff, resources, and appointments for the quarterly PCI Assessment of all PCI devices used at the University.
Supervise 30 servers that control all scoreboard, video display, audio system, and message sign equipment and maintenance at multiple sports venues inside WSU. This includes setup and teardown of related equipment. These servers are mission critical and are severely sensitive to downtime during events and must resolve issues quickly under extreme duress during the downtime.
Gatekeeper of all the media displayed on the video displays and message sign equipment at multiple sports venues and events at WSU. This includes creating a policy for media handling and submittal.
Supervise Ticketing Office IT operations at multiple locations and campuses during work hours and after hour events. This includes all ticket scanning hardware and software.
Supervisor of hourly employees and their schedules.
Supervision of all workstations, servers, and proprietary systems maintenance and security for the Wildcat Store and the Event and Sports Facilities department. This role must have a strong grasp of security best practices and WSU policies. It must be able to monitor critical systems and their client workstations for physical and virtual threats. In addition, it will work with other departments to provide access while still providing a strong security layer on those client workstations.
Active Directory (AD) and Group Policy (GP) management for both the Wildcat Store and the Event and Sports Facilities department. This role must have a strong grasp of AD and GP management. It will audit both AD objects and GPs applied to the workstations and servers. In addition, it will create GPs and understand the impact of existing GPs.
Wildcat Store Point of Sale system and register hardware maintenance, support, and management. Must be familiar with Linux systems.
Wildcat Store workstation support and maintenance. The role must be familiar with Apple products and third party enterprise management software (Centrify and JAMF) centered on those products.
Will be a member of the Campus Technology Coordinators (CTC) group, which helps drive WSU technology needs for the Vice President for Information Technology of WSU. Along with that, the position will be on various committees and RFP groups.
Due to the complexity of the systems contained in Financial Services, this position must have a high level of understanding of many diverse technologies including software configuration, computer hardware, mobile device operating systems, networking, security practices, scripting languages (Python, VBS, PowerShell), and operating systems (MacOS, Windows, Linux, etc..)
**Required Qualifications:**
Education: Bachelors degree in a technical field or equivalent experience (2 years of work equate to 1 year of school).
Experience: 3 years of concurrent experience troubleshooting technology in a full time position with emphasis on three or more of the following technologies:
Microsoft Active Directory
Microsoft System Center
JAMF
Virtualization Software
Terminal Services
Licenses, registration or certificates required:
ITIL Foundations certified within one year of hire.
HDI training, Extron control, Daktronics or other specialized training and/or certifications within 1 year of hire.
**Preferred Qualifications:**

Experience providing in-depth support for enterprise systems and software used at Weber State, such as Google Apps for Education, INB, Argos reporting, Microsoft Office Suite, Windows OS, Apple OS, etc.
Experience evaluating and maintaining the security of computer stations.
Experience imaging computers.
Experience providing formal or informal training to peers and those outside of peer group.
Experience with virus/malware removal.
Experience managing an independent workload and coordinating resources for competing projects and tasks without requiring guidance from other parties.
Experience synthesizing information and creating action plans.
Experience leading a team in a project coordination or project management role.
