Job Overview: Silco is seeking a dynamic, knowledgeable, and results-oriented Commercial Security Systems Salesperson to join our team. As a key player in our sales department, you will be responsible for driving revenue growth through the acquisition of new commercial customers for our comprehensive security systems. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in security sales (3 to 5 years), excellent communication skills, self-driven, and has a proven track record of meeting and exceeding sales targets.
Responsibilities:
  1. Prospecting and Lead Generation:
    • Identify and target potential commercial clients through market research, networking, and other lead generating activities.
    • Build and maintain a robust pipeline of prospects to ensure a consistent flow of opportunities.
  2. Consultative Selling:
    • Understand the specific security needs and challenges of each of our potential customers.
    • Provide tailored solutions that address the specific requirements and concerns of commercial entities.
  3. Product Knowledge:
    • Stay informed about the latest advancements in commercial security technology and services.
    • Effectively communicate the features and benefits of our security solutions to customers.
  4. Proposal Development:
    • Collaborate with the technical team to create detailed and accurate proposals for customers.
    • Present proposals in a compelling manner, addressing customer needs and concerns.
  5. Negotiation and Closing:
    • Skillfully negotiate terms and conditions to ensure a win-win situation for both the customer and Silco.
    • Close sales deals and achieve or exceed assigned revenue targets.
  6. Relationship Building:
    • Cultivate strong relationships with customers to foster long-term partnerships.
    • Provide excellent customer service and be a trusted advisor to customers.
  7. Market Intelligence:
    • Keep abreast of industry trends, competitor activities, and market dynamics to inform sales strategies.
Qualifications
  • Proven track record of successful sales experience in the commercial security systems industry.
  • Strong understanding of security technologies and solutions.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
  • Goal-oriented with a focus on achieving and exceeding sales targets.
  • Familiarity with CRM software and other sales tools.
  • Willingness to travel as needed.
Education and Experience:
  • Bachelor’s degree in business, Marketing, or a related field (preferred).
  • Minimum of 3 to 5 years of experience in commercial security sales.
