We are seeking a motivated and skilled Drain Technician to join our team in King of Prussia, PA. As a Selling Drain Technician at Sila, you will play a crucial role in providing high-quality drain cleaning services while delivering exceptional customer experiences. Your primary responsibility will be to diagnose drain issues, recommend appropriate solutions, and effectively communicate with customers to generate sales opportunities.

Responsibilities

  • Complete all drain cleaning, jetting, and cable work related to in-home, service calls.
  • Provide Camera service for mainline stoppages
  • Describe diagnosed problems to customers and provides solutions
  • Engage with customers in a professional and courteous manner, effectively communicating drain issues and recommended solutions to generate sales opportunities by explaining the features and benefits of each solution.
  • Obtain agreement for services before performing work
  • Identify opportunities to upsell additional services or products to customers, maximizing revenue potential.
  • Strive to exceed customer expectations by delivering exceptional service experiences and resolving any customer concerns or issues promptly.
  • Maintain truck inventory of parts and restock truck to minimum stock levels
  • Be able to successfully perform basic drain cleaning functions using small to large-sized drain cleaning machines
  • Have the basic knowledge of how a plumbing system works
  • Be able to remove and reset a toilet and a p-trap
  • Operate equipment in a safe manner
  • Wear all applicable Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)
  • Communicate professionally and respectfully with customers, office staff, and co-workers
  • Provide solutions to sewer and drain problems.
  • Participation in required staff meetings and training

Requirements

  • 5 or more years of Sewer and drain cleaning, replacement, and sales experience
  • Service Titan experience a plus!
  • Working knowledge of septic systems, sewer and drain systems, and underground piping
  • Repairing underground drains and sewers using conventional excavation methods or experience using trenchless pipe replacement equipment would be a plus
  • Personable and professional
  • High integrity and strong communication skills

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $25.00 - $35.00 per hour
