Your opportunity

We're looking for an Engineering Program Manager to join our Connected Residential Team in Peachtree City, GA. You'll be responsible for driving development and implementation of lighting fixtures and connected lighting projects that enable the world of IoT. The nature of these projects involves mechanical, electrical, software, testing, and regulatory compliance.

What you'll do

  • Work with a cross functional teams to manage programs from concept to commercial execution.

  • Coordinate closely with project stakeholders and cross-functional teams to document project scope and objectives.

  • Execute programs within scope, time, and budget.

  • Manage new product development and introductions of electrical, mechanical, software, and firmware products.

  • Provide periodic program updates (Program Status Report - Green/Yellow/Red) of current situation relating to contractual milestones and problem/high risk areas (e.g., technical, cost, and schedule.

What you'll need

  • Bachelor's Degree from an accredited institution.

  • Basic understanding of program management principles and concepts. Experience leading some projects. Familiar with project/program management tools such as MS Project.

  • Leader with excellent communication, organizational and people skills and the ability to work across functional groups.

  • Ability to develop a working relationship with geographically dispersed engineering and business teams.

  • Ability to work with third party consultants and partners.
