The Maintenance Technician is primarily responsible for performing the facility maintenance needs of real estate portfolio consisting of medical outpatient and professional office space. Responsibilities also include assisting a team of maintenance associates who oversee a portfolio of Class A student housing and multifamily apartment communities.
Responsibilities:
Responsibilities include managing 3rd party contractors, monitoring the operations of building systems, HVAC, plumbing, electrical, fire suppression, alarm systems and all other building management systems. The Maintenance Technician shall perform troubleshooting and repairs, respond to emergencies, and ensure that only the highest standards of customer service and care are met.
Additional responsibilities include:
· Coordinate 3rd party preventative maintenance and repairs.
· Conduct regular facility maintenance, health, and safety inspections.
· Respond to and close out work orders.
· Respond to emergency calls as necessary.
Qualifications:
· 3-year’s minimum experience in in facility maintenance role.
· Familiarity with applicable building systems including elevators, HVAC, electrical and fire suppression.
· HVAC I and II Certifications required (strong mechanical background preferred).
· Associate degree strongly preferred, high school diploma or equivalent required.
· Valid driver’s license and proof of insurance required.
· Passion for customer service.
· The ability to interact and communicate effectively and professionally.
· High level of organization and attention to detail
· Commitment to a team-first environment.
Other position-related responsibilities not listed may be required as needed.
