Overview

Signet Health is actively seeking a Psychiatric Nurse Manager for our program with University of Louisville Health in Louisville, KY.

The Nurse Manager will have responsibility for the overall operations of the nursing unit to include financial performance, service quality, clinical outcomes, quality improvement, employee satisfaction, and patient satisfaction. 

Provides treatment to senior adults (55 ) for mental health and substance use disorders, including depression, schizophrenia, post-traumatic stress disorder, bipolar and agitation associated with dementia.

Requirements/Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in nursing from an accredited nursing program
• Current KY RN licensure or compact license with privileges to work in Kentucky
• Minimum of 3 years of nursing experience including 3 years in management
• Basic Life Support (BLS) accredited by the American Heart Association (AHA)
• Internal Candidates: At least four (4) years of experience in an acute care setting, preferably an academic medical center. Prior management experience a plus.
• External candidates: At least five (5) years of experience in an acute care setting, preferably an academic medical center. Prior management experience a plus.

The hospital was the nation’s first behavioral health care center to open a retail pharmacist operated, long-acting injection clinic. The clinic was established to help people adhere to prescribed medications for behavioral health conditions, such as substance use and psychotic disorders.
