Overview:

As a Senior Clinical Informatics Specialist at Signet, you'll play a pivotal role in driving our organization's sales, business development, and operations strategies. Your focus will be on supporting the digital transformation of healthcare, working across multiple teams to develop, implement, and optimize technology solutions that enhance patient care and drive business growth.

This role will work holistically across the lifecycle of a client within SIGNET’s various departments. The overall intent is as follows: 50% sales/new business focused. 25% Project execution focused. 25% on-going support/service plan execution focused.

Responsibilities:

  • Strategic Consultation: Collaborate with healthcare professionals within Signet's client accounts to understand their needs and identify opportunities for leveraging technology in clinical settings. Through a consultative approach, you'll help develop and drive strategies that align with Signet's consultative role in healthcare's digital evolution and adoption.
  • System Design and Implementation: Assist in the design, implementation, education, and maintenance of healthcare communications and other clinically focused technology solutions that support efficient and effective patient care. This includes consulting on best practices, industry trends, and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Data Analysis and Process Improvement: Utilize industry data to analyze trends, identify patterns, and uncover opportunities for process improvement through Signet's technology solutions. Through project engagements and on-going support agreements, leverage your insights to contribute to the continuous enhancement, and “upsell” of our offerings and services.
  • Technology Evaluation and Selection: As a key member of the SIGNET Innovation team, participate in the identification, evaluation, and selection of new technology solutions and partners that Signet can bring to market. You'll serve as a liaison between clinical teams, IT departments, and external vendors to ensure seamless integration and adoption.
  • Clinical Workflow Optimization: As the established clinical leader within the organization, provide leadership, coaching and direction to our clinical informatics team. Establish best practices that improve operational efficiency, enhance system use, and align with strategic priorities and clinical business initiatives.
  • Client Engagement and Support: Communicate effectively with high-level executives and clinical leadership during the sales cycle, project execution, and service plan engagements. Your role is crucial in ensuring client satisfaction, system adoption, and overall success. Outreach may include targeted marketing campaigns focused on SIGNET solutions, client success stories, and industry white papers.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with Signet's Leadership, Project Management, Engineering, and Sales teams on organizational initiatives, improvement metrics, industry evolution, project schedules, scope, and execution.
  • Reporting and Insights: Develop advanced system reports, actionable insights, business intelligence dashboards, and "proof of concept" white papers to support system adoption, impact assessment, and client acceptance.
  • Industry participation: Through, selection, sign-up and on-going participation in industry organizations, trade shows, industry roundtables, or other client facing engagements, represent the SIGNET brand, value proposition, and market solutions/positioning. This role will be responsible for the the creation of client engagement panels/groups to help create awareness and gather direct client feedback that will help better position SIGNET for future opportunities and growth.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in healthcare informatics, information technology, nursing or a related field (Master's degree preferred).
  • Certification in healthcare informatics (e.g., CPHIMS) is advantageous.
  • Proven experience in healthcare technology, project management, and client engagement.
  • Experience in clinical setting as a nurse or similar, or CIS role required.
  • Strong analytical, communication, and collaboration skills.
  • Ability to work independently, lead initiatives, and collaborate effectively in a cross-functional team environment.
  • In-depth knowledge of healthcare regulations, standards, and best practices in clinical informatics
