Job Summary: As a Pool Attendant at SPM you will play a crucial role in maintaining a safe and enjoyable experience for our guests within the pool area. You will be responsible for overseeing pool rules and regulations, providing excellent customer service, and ensuring the cleanliness and orderliness of the pool facilities.

A typical day in the life of a pool attendant looks like maintaining clean common areas, ensuring safe pool use, and checking in guests.

Key Responsibilities:

• Pool Safety: Enforce pool rules and regulations to ensure the safety and well-being of all guests. Be vigilant to prevent accidents, administer basic first aid if necessary, and report any incidents.
• Customer Service: Greet guests, answer their questions, and aid as needed. Maintain a friendly and helpful attitude to enhance the guest experience and remain calm and respectful in the face of tension.
• Cleaning and Maintenance: Keep the pool area clean and organized, including picking up trash, arranging pool furniture, and ensuring all equipment is in good working condition. Perform routine maintenance tasks as required.
• Chemical Monitoring: Regularly test and monitor pool water chemistry to maintain water quality. Add chemicals as necessary and record results as per safety standards.
• Report Issues: Report any maintenance, safety, or security issues to the appropriate department or supervisor.

Qualifications:

• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Knowledge of pool maintenance and safety protocols is a plus.
• Physical fitness and the ability to stand, walk, and lift objects up to 50 pounds.

Work Environment:

This role primarily involves working outdoors in various weather conditions. Pool Attendants may be exposed to chlorine and other pool chemicals, so proper safety precautions are required, and PPE is provided.

Schedule and Compensation:

Hourly Rate: $14-17 per hour
