Post Location: Signal of Broomfield/Ft. Collins

Schedule: Full-Time

Starting Pay Rate: $20.00/hr

Position Summary:

A Signal Branch Patrol Supervisor provides functional leadership to Signal’s Community Based Security Officers through the development and implementation of policies and practices essential to the effective management of day-to-day operations. Basic duties include protecting all sites and managing all reporting officers. All duties listed below are minimum requirements, additional site-specific duties may be required.

Soft Skills:

  • Visioning: Understanding the big picture and requirements necessary to deliver services that reflect company values, goals, and purpose. Can you exhibit core values of Signal, creating peace of mind for our clients and explain those values to the Advanced and Patrol Officers?
  • Strategic Planning: Effective engagement, communication, planning & execution of daily patrol responsibilities while meeting established deadlines. Can you effectively adopt and communicate changes in regulations and company policy as well as train team members to efficiently complete their job responsibilities?
  • Financial Acumen: Understanding company measurements while executing the necessary behaviors to drive performance. Can you identify and communicate potential hiring needs to your Ops Coordinator as well as participate in the interview and onboarding process.
  • Team Development: Communicate with Clients, Team Members and Management effectively and in a timely manner, receiving and relaying feedback and executing follow up as needed. Can you create an environment of openness, trust and respect while coaching and developing Advanced and Patrol Officer’s performance?
  • Project Management: Complete understanding and execution of daily tasks and efficiently delivering services that meet the needs of the business.Can you complete your daily assigned tasks with the additional responsibility of reviewing the activity and incident reports of Advanced and Patrol Officers?

Responsibilities:

  • Coach, monitor, and develop accountability for the individual performance of the Advanced Patrol Officer and Patrol Officer’s to align with company standards i.e. patrol completion, report writing, etc.
  • Leads the Branch Manager Daily Scrum to communicate all service, property, post order, and routing changes.
  • Schedules and conducts spot checks with officers under their supervision, providing feedback, accountability, and recognition as needed.
  • Promptly and consistently report any client specific information or issues to the Coordinator, while helping to execute and provide resolutions to any client issues or concerns.
  • Participate in the hiring process, interviewing candidates, and setting up orientation dates and times. Communicate regularly with the Coordinator throughout the hiring process.
  • Responsible for equipment inventory and maintenance including uniforms, vehicles, devices, phones, etc. while communicating needs and issues to their Coordinator.
  • Participating in a performance review during recommended time frames with the Coordinator to enhance the Officer Brand Experience.
  • Responsible for ensuring schedule is complete to fulfill contracted services and will cover shifts as necessary to ensure completion while minimizing overtime.
  • Responsible for recommending and issuing disciplinary action for personnel in violation of the Signal Standard Operating Procedures. Furthermore, providing positive recognition for personnel going above and beyond the Signal expectations. 
  • Communicate with the Coordinator in the Weekly Coordinator Meeting to review weekly score card, route reviews, operation priorities, and all client related issues.

Requirements:

  • 21 years of age or older
  • High school diploma or GED
  • Pass background check and drug test
  • Must have valid driver’s license and good driving record
  • Must have reliable transportation
  • Must be able to work all shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays
  • Complete training modules within first month
  • Excellent organization, oral, and written communication skills
  • Demonstrate a commitment to service, organization values and professionalism through appropriate conduct and demeanor at all times
  • Must be able to move equipment weighing up to 20 pounds
