Job Overview:
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Security Officer to join our team. As a Security Officer, you will be responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment for our clients and employees. This is a critical role that requires strong surveillance skills, conflict management abilities, and a commitment to enforcing security protocols.
We are hiring a Part-Time position in Ellenton, FL.
Weekend Availability is a must ( Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday...subject to change)
Hours: 8:00 am- 4:00 pm(24 hours weekly, with options of extra hours when needed)
Starting pay is $15.00/hr.
The shifts are first shift.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct regular patrols to ensure the safety and security of the premises
- Monitor surveillance cameras and report any suspicious activities
- Respond promptly to alarms or incidents and take appropriate action
- Provide excellent customer service by assisting visitors and addressing their inquiries or concerns
- Enforce access control procedures and verify the identity of individuals entering the premises
- Perform routine inspections to identify potential security risks or hazards
- Collaborate with law enforcement agencies when necessary
- Prepare detailed incident reports and maintain accurate records
- Assist with loss prevention efforts by implementing effective security measures

Experience:
- Proven experience as a Security Officer or in a similar role
- Strong conflict management skills to handle challenging situations calmly and professionally
- Familiarity with law enforcement procedures and regulations
- Ability to respond quickly and effectively in emergency situations
- Military or law enforcement background is a plus
