School Nurse (RN) - This position is PRN (as needed)
Pediatric experienced RN needed to work in our Early Childhood Development Center. This is a rewarding position that is slightly more involved than your typical school nurse. At our center, we enroll many children with significant conditions that are medically fragile, may need tube feeding or other specialized care. Our school nurse does all the typical wellness checks and health screenings you'd expect, but also works with other medical professionals to develop nursing care plans that will allow children with special needs to experience a typical early childhood environment. This person will actively participate in IEP plans for children with special/health related needs.

• Must have current license as an RN in the state of Tennessee and have 2 years' experience in nursing, preferably with young children. Work in pediatric rehabilitation preferred.
• Must demonstrate knowledge, skills, education and training in pediatric rehabilitation nursing.
• CPR certification
• Excellent clinical nursing and communication skills
• Willing to maintain a license as a Certified CPR Instructor
• Ability to provide staff training on topics such as First Aid/CPR, universal precautions, etc.
