Warehouse Person is responsible for the organization and maintenance product received, shipped and stored in the warehouse. Staging of all products, tools, and supplies for next day installations. of the entire facility both indoors and outdoors. Material and product receiving and organization in a manner that is safe and easily trackable. Yard-Facility Maintenance. The Warehouse Position begins at 8:00 AM and ends at 5:00 PM daily with proper breaks and lunch periods.

Job Duties Include:

· Receive materials and inventory. Distribute receiving documents to the Production Department.

· Review next day work orders with the Installation Manager to assure that all product, tools and supplies are identified. Stage all product, tools and supplies for efficient loading for next day installations.

· Organize warehouse on an installation priority basis. First Out readily available, followed by later installations, followed by long-term storage, etc.

· Properly identify, label and store client owned products.

· Process shipping returns. Communicate with shippers regarding freight damage. Communicate with vendors and process returns due to damage, malfunction, or any other reason for return.

· Arrange for processing and disposal of hazardous refuse, ie. lamps, ballasts, paint, etc. Maintain all hazardous manifests or any other required documentation.

· Establish and maintain a small tool area that includes ladders, come alongs, drills, shovels, and any other small tool currently in inventory. Track check-in and return of small tools.

Perform regular maintenance tasks on yard equipment, machinery, and vehicles.

Conduct inspections to identify and address any safety hazards, maintenance needs, or repairs.

Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the yard, storage areas, and surrounding premises.

Assist in the repair and maintenance of buildings, structures, and fixtures as needed.

Operate various tools and equipment in a safe and efficient manner.

Monitor inventory of maintenance supplies and report shortages as necessary.

Collaborate with other team members to ensure a smooth workflow and effective communication.

Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines while performing tasks.

Document maintenance activities, including repairs, inspections, and cleaning tasks.

· Assure that all duties of the Yard-Facility Maintenance are covered as needed.

· Any other necessary function as directed by management.

Qualifications:

· Common sense and critical thinking. Must be proficient at reading, math, written and verbal communication.

· Must be able to perform without direction.

· Must be trained on small tools, forklift certified, and able to drive all Class C vehicles.

· Must be able to read and understand work orders

· Ability to remain organized, efficient, creative and capable of implementing multiple tasks. prepare clear and concise reports, work effectively with the Sales Staff, Installation Staff and Production Staff.

· Must maintain current drivers license and clean DMV record.

· Must be able to learn and constantly utilize all safety measures and PPE.

Physical Requirements:

· Must be capable of fine hand/eye coordination as necessary with production type work. Must be capable of sitting, standing, lifting up to 50 lbs.

· Must be capable of sitting, standing or walking for long periods of time.

· Must be able to perform essential job functions with or without reasonable accommodation.
